If there was a machine that made everything perfect if you just pressed a button, would you press that button?
It is a good question to think about as it has many layers to it.
To illustrate some of our perfectionism-crave that is especially prevalent in pop-culture, I have made a recording about one of these “machines” that make things “perfect”. It is a plug-in used in more advanced recording software and studios that actually make you sing perfectly in tune.
Even though this about the voice I think the concept applies to any art and something really worth to consider in our creative life: What is driving your creativity? Is it perfection? What else could it be?
